Somewhere in your city there is a hotel concierge who sells your tour every week. They know your product, your cutoff times and your commission. A marketplace listing has years of reviews attached. Those relationships are some of the most valuable things your business owns, and they are exactly what a careless system change can break.

That is why this guide does not start with a list of Rezdy competitors. It starts by asking which part of your setup actually needs replacing. Then it looks at four routes, and finishes with the reseller booking you should map before moving a single product.

Two layers, and maybe only one needs changing

A tour business usually runs on two layers: the reservation system that holds your stock, and the distribution layer that pushes it to agents and marketplaces. Rezdy does both, and says Channel Manager access comes with its booking-software plans. It also documents separate access for operators using a different booking system, including a route through the RezdyConnect API.[5]

So if you are happy with your agent relationships but need a better workflow for rentals or admissions, consider replacing only the bottom layer. Before you do, sketch the arrangement in plain language: which system owns stock, which one sends availability to the channels, where the guest record lands, and who reconciles payments. A second system adds a commercial and technical dependency. It is only worth it if each of those jobs has a clear owner.

Four routes if you replace the lot

Bókun, when Viator leads

Bókun START lists resource management and channel selling with five users, at a displayed $49/month plus 1.5% on applicable bookings. PLUS adds custom agent booking areas and Zapier. Those are concrete reasons to trial it if you balance direct sales with reseller access.[2]

Its Viator fee exemption applies to reservations on START, PLUS and PREMIUM. The separate Channel Manager product lists a 0.5%-1.5% fee on Viator reservations. Get a quote for the right product before comparing it with Rezdy, and remember marketplace commission applies whichever route you take.[2]

TrekkSoft, when agents and deposits drive the business

TrekkSoft Starter displays EUR 49/month billed annually, with ten agent accounts, unlimited user accounts, POS and an integrated payment gateway. Accelerate displays EUR 149/month billed annually and adds unlimited agent accounts, private activities and down payments. If private group deposits are part of normal business, trial the tier that includes them.[3]

Read the fee schedule closely, because it separates offline, direct online, marketplace bookings and payment processing, with set payout cycles. Starter shows EUR 1.50 per offline booking and 3% on direct online bookings; Accelerate shows EUR 1 and 2.5%. Do not compare an annual-equivalent subscription with a cancellable monthly quote while ignoring those charges, and get tax treatment and account eligibility in a written offer.[3]

Regiondo, for a European operator

Regiondo Grow displays EUR 59/month, with up to three users, channel management and a mobile scan app. Pro displays EUR 99/month, with unlimited users and guest self-service changes and cancellations. Its FAQ specifies a one-year contract despite monthly billing, and online bookings carry a per-booking fee whose amount is not stated on the page we reviewed. Its documented region is Europe.[4]

FareHarbor, when you need help setting up

FareHarbor's published onboarding has its own team build your dashboard and bring your future reservations over, and its published operational features justify a demo for a business that needs help with setup and front-line work. Ask for a matched fee schedule, since neither its homepage nor the payments page we reviewed sets out one universal rate.[1][6]

Map the hotel booking before you move anything

Back to that concierge. Imagine they work under a negotiated commission and sell a language-specific city tour. Your migration inventory needs to carry the hotel account owner, the commercial agreement, the product option, the departure time and the settlement method. The tour's public name alone is not enough to reconnect the sale.

Ask the new supplier to show you how that agent makes a booking and asks for a change. Note which steps are automatic and which need someone in your office. Then repeat the exercise for a marketplace listing, with its own product and booking references. A smooth direct checkout settles neither question.

Choose only once the numbers reconcile

Take one real month of direct, offline and agent bookings and price it on both the old and proposed setup. Rezdy publishes both online percentages and tier-specific offline and agent charges, so count bookings as well as revenue.[7]

Then choose the option that fixes your actual operational problem while keeping the sales relationships you need. Before cutover, reconcile future bookings and outstanding balances, and have each channel owner confirm their mapping. Keep a fallback ready in case a channel's approval takes longer than the reservation import. The migration checklist sets out the order of work.

Before migration, list current products and partners, map each booking path, verify availability and guest records, then reconcile reservations before cutover.
